An action drama about two women, one artifact, and a guild that turns runaways into weapons.
Cat, a teenage runaway, aspiring Five Elements Kung Fu master, and pickpocket, meets Rin, a hitchhiker, thief, and military-trained fighter. They become fast friends, brawl their way out of a biker ambush, and escape to LA, where they join the Thieves Guild.
The Guild is run by The Professor, who gathers runaways and trains them in the stealing arts. Cat talks the crew into robbing a valuable artifact from Devon, a Kung Fu master and former student of her late father. Her hidden agenda: punish Devon and reclaim what he stole.
Meanwhile, Rin sinks deeper into her dark past, doing anything to protect Cat. To survive a world where no one can be trusted, the two must forge an unbreakable bond, or be consumed by it.

Tiger Bones is textured and lit in the palette of the Five Elements, black, white, red, green, and gold. It visually references Tarkovsky's Ivan's Childhood and Matt Reeves' The Batman: the austere harshness of conflict seen from youth, colliding with a Gothic, gritty underground of thieves.
Fast, dynamic action cut against intentional slow-motion and open, moving shots. At its core, it's a story about a single choice, fear or love, and which one will win out.
Fighters, cult icons, and rising talent, assembled outside the system.
Featuring Channah Zeitung, Jenna Kanell, Cam Gigandet, Mark Dacascos, Aaron “El Hefe” Abeyta, Jesse Hughes, Arissa LeBrock, Frankie Galvez, Patrick Sanderson, Emma Wedemeyer, and Angie Lin.

DAY“I have a soft spot for meditative action flicks. The Way from writer-director Dastan Khalili not only fits the bill, it also includes a metaphysical twist.”Robert Daniels, The New York Times
“An elegantly shot mood piece set amid the downtown LA lost crowd, and the intense Khalili creates a striking screen presence.”Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times
