Cat, a teenage runaway, aspiring Five Elements Kung fu master, and pickpocket meets and befriends Rin, a hitchhiker, thief, and military trained fighter. They become fast friends and end up in a brawl with a group of riff raff. Beating them up and taking one of their cars, they escape to New Orleans, where they join the Thieves Guild.
